Chamber “Connecting” with Local Young Professionals

I’d like to make you aware of a new program started recently by the MJ Chamber of Commerce. While we are only a couple of months into this, the emerging Young Professionals are already off and running. Having held their first mixer in March and one just last week, nearly 20 YP’s (Under 40 is the cutoff) attended each one. The folks leading this effort are doing a fantastic job and watching them work as a team is great.

They are filled with energy, enthusiasm, ideas, and passion. As more and more Young Professionals become aware of and engage with this group, the better for everyone. Membership to attend and participate is not a requirement; we hope that by introducing a younger group to the Chamber, they too will see the countless benefits of Membership. So, anyone under 40, interested in meeting other YP’s are welcome to follow them on Facebook, attend these events, join them at the Monthly Mixers, and in turn broaden your reach in meeting new friends and future business associates. If you are interested in finding out how to get on the email distribution list, just email Sean White at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or visit the Chamber website; www.mtjulietchamber.com for more information. For upcoming meetings and events be sure to keep an eye on the Calendar of Events. If you are 40 or under, hope to see you soon!

Till next week, Mark
