The MJ Chamber would like to encourage our community to not only shop local, but to shift our way of thinking when choosing a physician, insurance agent, auto mechanic, or many other vendors we use every day.
When we shop local, our sales tax dollars go towards funding city services. We would like to take the shop local focus one step further by encouraging everyone to shift all habits local and make a larger, city-wide impact by engaging businesses of every sector.
When we live in a place as great as Mt. Juliet, it’s really easy to live, buy, eat, and think local! Help us enrich our future by believing and belonging in Mt. Juliet. Let’s put our money where our heart is!
Mt. Juliet Mayor Ed Hagery presented two proclamations at last night's city commission meeting. One encourages Mt. Juliet to participate in Shop Small Saturday on 11/30 and the other designates November as Buy Local Month. LIVE, BUY, EAT, THINK LOCAL is a new #MJChamber initiative which encourages everyone to "live local."
